Description: Rolling Loud: The Movie is a 2026 American comedy directed and written by Jeremy Garelick. The film follows Hank, played by Owen Wilson, an overprotective father who desperately wants to reconnect with his 13-year-old son Zion, portrayed by Christian Convery. Against his wife’s wishes, Hank secretly takes Zion to the massive Rolling Loud hip-hop festival in Miami, hoping the experience will bring them closer. Instead, his carefully planned night quickly turns into a disaster when Zion disappears into the enormous crowd. With thousands of festivalgoers, heavy security and an increasingly chaotic atmosphere making the search almost impossible, Hank joins forces with two unlikely allies, including his reckless co-worker played by Matt Rife and festival volunteer Linda, portrayed by Christine Ko. As the desperate search takes him through crowded festival grounds, backstage areas and increasingly bizarre situations, Hank is forced to confront not only the chaos around him but also the uncomfortable realization that his son is growing up and becoming more independent. The movie features numerous appearances by major hip-hop artists, including Travis Scott, Sexyy Red, Ski Mask the Slump God, Playboi Carti and Ty Dolla $ign, with several performers appearing as themselves. Inspired by Garelick’s own real-life experience taking his teenage son to Rolling Loud, the film combines raunchy comedy, music and an unexpectedly heartfelt father-son story.
