Description: The Other People is a 2025 American horror mystery thriller directed and edited by Chad McClarnon and co-written with Trey McClarnon. The story follows Rachel Myers Marsh, played by Lyndie Greenwood, who marries widowed professor William Marsh (Bryce Johnson) and moves into a new home with his troubled eight-year-old daughter Abby (Valentina Lucido). Their attempt to build a comfortable family life soon takes a disturbing turn when Abby befriends a mysterious boy named Eric (Brayden Mohr), whom she believes lives in the hidden corners of the house. What initially seems like an imaginary friend becomes increasingly difficult to explain as Rachel begins hearing strange noises, noticing missing objects and seeing unsettling figures moving through the darkness. As the town is plagued by sudden deaths and disappearances, Rachel becomes convinced that something much more sinister is happening inside their home. Quinnlan Ashe plays William’s assistant Emily Craddock, while Ashley Crow portrays Wendy Elster, a neighbor whose own experiences add another layer to the mystery. B.D. Boudreaux, Liz Atwater and Hank Quillen also appear in key roles. Blending claustrophobic haunted-house horror with psychological suspense and disturbing social themes, The Other People explores family, fear, home ownership and the lengths people will go to protect those closest to them.
