Description: La casa en el árbol, also known as The TreeHouse, is a 2025 Spanish horror thriller written and directed by Luis Calderón. The film follows Ale, her boyfriend Jesús, and their dog Drago as they spend a romantic weekend in a treehouse suspended more than 20 meters above the ground in the forests of Zeanuri. During the night, Drago's frantic barking wakes Ale, who leaves the cabin to investigate and witnesses Jesús falling to his death. A year later, Ale returns to the same forest convinced that his death was not an accident. She believes that a mysterious presence living among the trees was responsible and decides to uncover proof of its existence. Sandra Escacena stars as Ale, with Claudio Portalo as Jesús and Kandido Uranga as Ángel. Mala Rodríguez plays Má, while Apolonia Lapiedra, Asier Hernández, Inge Ugarte, and other members of the cast appear in supporting roles. As Ale begins investigating the forest, her search gradually turns into a dangerous hunt for the creature she believes took Jesús from her. Blending psychological horror, mystery, and survival thriller elements, La casa en el árbol transforms a secluded romantic getaway into a disturbing confrontation with an unseen predator.
