Description: Iván & Hadoum is a 2026 Spanish-German-Belgian romantic drama written and directed by Ian de la Rosa in his feature debut. Set among the sprawling greenhouses of Almería in southern Spain, the film follows Iván, a young trans man working as a forklift driver in his family's agricultural business. He has spent years working toward a promotion that would allow him to become a manager and provide greater financial support for his family. His routine changes when Hadoum, a Moroccan-Spanish seasonal worker, joins the greenhouse workforce. Despite their very different backgrounds, Iván and Hadoum develop an immediate attraction that gradually grows into a genuine relationship. Herminia Loh Moreno plays Hadoum opposite Silver Chicón as Iván, with Úrsula Díaz Manzano, Esperanza Guardado, Cisco Lara, and Nico Montoya in supporting roles. Their relationship becomes increasingly complicated when Iván finally receives the promotion he has been waiting for and becomes Hadoum's supervisor. The new imbalance of power forces him to choose between family expectations, career ambitions, and his feelings for Hadoum, while she continues fighting for better treatment and greater independence as a migrant worker. Blending an intimate love story with social drama, the film explores class, workplace inequality, identity, family pressure, and the difficult choices that can arise when love develops within an unequal social and economic environment.
