Description: A Tale of Two Cities is a 2026 British-American historical drama miniseries based on Charles Dickens’ classic novel. Set in London in 1782, the story begins when Lucie Manette learns that her father, believed to have died nearly two decades earlier, may still be alive in Paris. Her search leads her to Charles Darnay, an idealistic French émigré who is arrested and accused of treason. Lucie turns to Sydney Carton, a brilliant but troubled English lawyer, to defend him. François Civil plays Darnay, while Kit Harington portrays Carton, two men who look remarkably alike but could not be more different in character.
