Filip Đurić appears as Ilija, with Mauro Ercegović Gracin as Nikola and Nikša Butijer as Stanko, members of the community caught between its traditional rules and the changes brought by the mysterious newcomer. As Teresa becomes increasingly connected to the people around her, the film develops an unusual atmosphere in which grief, faith and superstition begin to overlap. Her presence seems to awaken something within the isolated community, and the boundaries between reality, memory and the supernatural become increasingly uncertain. Written and directed by Hana Jušić, God Will Not Help is an atmospheric historical drama combining elements of mystery, folklore and western cinema. The film premiered at the Locarno Film Festival in 2025, where Manuela Martelli and Ana Marija Veselčić jointly received the Pardo for Best Performance.
